Spring has sprung
in Hazard, Kentucky

Strange as it may seem, my flowers began blooming at the end of February and nothing seems to be stopping them.  This is my first tulip of the season....now, today is March 12th and it is very unusual for a tulip to be blooming at this time of year.  Maybe they were anticipating my earlier trip to Europe and wanted to send me off with flowers!  My new digital camera has been quite a blessing and the setting for closeups on flowers is awesome.  The insects of Hazard have swarmed to my beautiful flowers for the sweet nectar they bear!  You will see what I am talking about in some of the closeups.  Sure hope you enjoy my photos!
